I'm not very good at drawing so I traced a image instead.

Started with a doughnut looking shape.

Adding some shadow, but as you can see, there's some pixel area around it.

Try to use the pathfinder to delete them, and it works.

Adding some textures.

Used the same shape to make the bottom bread.

Today I will turn this summery photo in to a winter scene.

Made it mono.

Then after I done with the photo, I didn't get the result I want, so, I changed the photo and started again.

Duplicated it and set it to screen.
